RULES:

Teams

  • Teams must have 1-4 members.

Attendance

  • All team members must be present for the opening ceremony (Saturday at 12pm) and for their project presentation (Sunday at 12pm).
  • You can leave the venue to work elsewhere, but don't ghost the key moments.

Getting Help

  • Feel free to ask mentors, organizers, etc. for advice or feedback. Just remember: they can't do work for you.
  • We not only allow, but encourage the use of Generative AI tools to aid in product development, and even ideation.

Project Work

  • All project work must happen during the hackathon.
  • Brainstorming before hand is fine.
  • You can work on an old idea, but you cannot resue code from earlier versions.
  • You can build something that already exists, originality is cool but not required.

Using External Code

  • Teams are greatly encouraged to use open source libraries and frameworks.
  • Do not try to game the system by pre-building your project and calling it "open source". We will notice.

  • You can make small bug fixes during your demo (like fixing a typo or one-line bug). No big changes or feature adds allowed.

Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team/individual on sufficient basis of evidence at the sole discretion of organizing team.
